Week 29! Whoa! I know I say that every week but I’m always shocked.
This week started with us still in Vegas for our baby moon! We had the BEST time and were so so sad to go home. Sunday we honestly spent from 9 am to 5 pm at the pool, then ate at shake shack and went to bed! Call us boring but honestly it was everything we needed!
Monday we woke up went to the pool, and then checked out and headed home. We didn’t get in until about 8:30 PM and I had some work to do so we stayed up for a bit then per my pregnancy schedule crashed at like 11.
This week was a fun week for work, not to busy. I shot with Rags to Raches twice on Tuesday, went to the sand dunes Wednesday night with a client and Thursday night we had our birthing class.
When I first got pregnant a year ago we kinda talked about going unmedicated and what that would look like, but my eyes have been opened so much to this other world I was never told about when it comes to birth. I honestly am excited to have my journey and I have reiterated so much that birth is so personal and no matter how you do it, women are champions and honestly have such a gift that we get to bring kids into the world.
But I do love my class. It is by Lauralyn Curtis and called the Curtis Method if you are local to Utah. Can’t wait to put my practice to work when she comes!
Friday we left for Jackson Hole with Trent’s work. We got to stay at the four seasons and it was amazing. (Still here and it’s magical)! Friday night we had a dinner with the attorneys at his firm, and then snuggled up for our last big weekend trip. Saturday morning he had meetings so I stayed in bed and ordered room service and it was heavenly. This is my last big away from home relaxing weekend so I wanted to take advantage.
That afternoon we went into town and explored and had dinner. After we headed over to the Rodeo! I am not a country girl at all but it is always fun to do something out of your comfort zone! We ended the night playing games and enjoying company! I am so grateful for the time we’ve had the past few weeks, and even more can’t wait for her to join us.
Also, on Monday I found out that I am boarderline gestational diabetes, so no diagnosis, but something to be aware of. I was super bummed but I have been doing a lot of research Β and there are some ties to gestational diabetes and taking progesterone. So who knows. I go in this week and will chat with my doctor a bit more about it all. But that’s been an interesting mix in the pregnant life.
On to the stats!
