Week 23 👧🏻 Happy Easter! 🐥🐰💛

I can’t believe a whole new week has already passed! I spent last Sunday in Ireland still, we were just leaving Kinsale and heading back to Dublin! We had a great stay in the most darling hotel, and great hosts. Last week was a huge milestone for me as I mentioned so I was beaming all week in how far we had made it. She’s becoming more and more real every second, as is my love for her.

On our drive back we stopped at the most darling little town and took in the colorful homes and the quaint life we imagined they lived! We started driving back and it might have been the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. We stopped at what looked like a golf course but it was full of hundreds on sheep. It was so fun to be up close to them!

My 3 goals for Ireland were see a castle, sheep, and the rolling hills. That morning I got all 3. We stopped at the Cashel Rock Castle and it was on a cliff side and so amazing. They had a view of just open green rolling hills and honestly my heart just was so at peace. I felt so happy with where I was, having little girl in me, and being with my best friend.

On the way back we made a stop at a Monostoric City and it was late at night but we had to make it! It was in a national park and the drive was a hike but when we got there it was amazing. We spent about an hour then they headed into dublin. As we were driving we realized we didn’t recognize where we were. Luckily we had some faith and made it fine out of the most bleak, Mars like drive I’ve ever seen!

We arrived in Dublin at about 8:30 PM and were so tired and so we ordered in and went right to bed. We got up early the next day and wanted to go site see Dublin and grab some photos, but our car had other plans. Our car broke down luckily on a side street, so we waited to be rescued and we were exhausted at this point so we saw a few places, shopped and then headed to the airport for Barcelona.

We got into Barcelona pretty late, so we went to a darling restaraunt got some foos and headed to bed. we had tickets for Safrada Familia that next morning and got an email the night before saying they canceled. No explanation, no help in rebooking, just it’s canceled. 😂 we were so sad but it was part of the trip so oh well. We shopped all day that day! It was amazing. Mango, Zara blew my mind. I shopped a bit for me and little girl. She’s gonna be so so cute. And Europe prices are soooo low compared to USA. We spent the rest of the afternoon on the bus site seeing, I was a bit tapped out on walking, my belly would get so tight it was hard to keep going.  That night we had a yummy dinner, many fantas, and lots of ice thank goodness.

The next day was our last so we went sight seeing all day and walked the whole city it felt like. We had such amazing hosts and great taxi drivers, 😌. Barcelona was amazing and something I’ll never forget. I truly felt like I belonged there, can’t wait to bring Trent back with me. Our flight home wasn’t bad at all, and felt good to get back. I relaxed Thursday and our friend Tom flew in from Boston so we had a busy weekend ahead. Friday we went to 2 comedy shows and dinner and really just had a fun night relaxing and catching up.

Saturday we woke up and went to breakfast at my favorite Park Cafe, went to the U of U red and white game, lunch and home.

That night we went to dinner, bees game, and then I was just shot. Felt good to finally lay down and rest. It’s been very go go go!

Today is Easter and while I’ll talk about it next week, I’m feeling so emotional today thinking about how little girl will be joining us soon. I am so grateful for this life and home, and I can’t wait til we can our baby girl here on earth with us.

weight gain: 122 on Friday! She’s putting some pounds on me!

belly size : 33 1/2 inches same as last week!

Sleep: oh man, Europe was hard on my body. So let’s just call this week a wash? 😂 hopefully better next week

Cravings: ice cream gelato, pizza, bananas, apples, water, ice, Fanta – oh Europe

Feeling: very lucky. My heart is expanding, and so are my ribs because of little lady 😉. I love her more then life and I can’t wait to meet her!

Gender: 💕🎀🌸💕🎀🌸 baby girl!

Peak moment: coming home and seeing husband! Also making it through Europe with her okay! That was hard for my brain. Trent made her closet while I was gone and that just made my world to have her room that much closer. I can’t wait to finish it all up. What a lucky life.
